The A.R.I.S.E Agenda, which you have passionately championed since May 29, 2023, has ushered in a wave of transformative projects that will directly benefit our people in the long run. From the rural access road connecting Nsit Ibom and Ibesikpo Asutan to the Cottage Hospital in Ikot Nkwo and the Housing Estate in Mbierebe, among other laudable projects spread across the state, have shown that your commitment to improving the lives of our constituents and Akwa Ibom people is evident”. Parts of the goodwill message reads.

“The situation above has occasioned and brought about untold hardship to the people, farmers cannot convey their farm produce to the market, schools are closed, hospital and health clinics cannot be accessed, pregnant women are compelled to patronize traditional birth attendants, life expectancy is low, morbidity and mortality rates are high. People are helpless and hope is far from sight without prompt intervention by our amiable Governor in the Arise Agenda.” He said

Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem while highlighting this year’s theme disclosed that the Governor in 2019 organized an educational submit in the state which today, its core objectives of creative parenting of future leaders, creative parenting of a sane society, creation of jobs and enhancing a creative workforce within the system is said to have been encapsulated in the theme for this year’s celebration of Children’s Day.
